Schedule a Complimentary Consultation
If you have questions or would like to schedule a complimentary consultation, please contact us.
There are no commitments during the consultation. We believe you should have a thorough understanding of what we do before committing to any care.
Our goal is to get an understanding of your situation, discuss any questions you might have, and determine if our office is the right fit for your needs.
What Do I Need to Know Before My Examination?
After completing your complimentary consultation with Dr. Arns and discussing any questions you have, you may wish to proceed with a Structural Chiropractic examination. The exam is thorough (45-60 minutes) and performed by Dr. Arns. Please dress in comfortable clothing for the exam.
The exam includes:
- Digital Structural Analysis
- Multi-Axial Structural Analysis
- Neurologic and Orthopedic Testing
These examination procedures allow Dr. Arns to determine the presence of a Structural Shift. After a thorough assessment of your examination, a follow-up conference will be scheduled to go over your results and provide a personalized care recommendation. You will also be receiving your first structural adjustment at the recommendation conference.

Structural Chiropractic Vs. Traditional Chiropractic
Most chiropractors focus their care on decreasing pain, reducing muscle spasms, and improving range of motion. This type of care is generally classified as symptom management and pain relief. Unlike traditional chiropractic, which focuses on attempting to treat disease and symptoms once they occur, care at Complete Chiropractic focuses on correcting the underlying causes of dysfunction in the body.
Think of your spine as the foundation of your body, similar to the foundation of a building. If the foundation of the building shifted by just a couple of inches, would it be reasonable to expect the walls to crack, doors to creak, and windows to not open smoothly? Without correcting the foundational shifts, the problems would have to be corrected over and over again.
Care at Complete Chiropractic focuses on correcting the underlying structural shifts in your spine to ensure that your foundation is strong. When the spine shifts away from what is considered normal, then you will experience what we refer to as secondary conditions, or symptoms. By restoring proper spinal structure and alignment, the body is allowed to move, heal, and function normally. Correcting and maintaining normal spinal structure takes time and commitment, as do most problems in life. Care at Complete Chiropractic is meant to be a long-term solution utilizing a prevention oriented health care philosophy, not just a quick fix.

What is a Structural Shift?
There are many ways to measure normal in healthcare, such as a normal body temperature of 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Things like blood pressure and the air pressure in a tire have a normal range. While we do not expect everyone to have 100% normal structure, there is a range of what is considered acceptable and what is unacceptable. The only way to appreciate abnormal – is to know normal.
At Complete Chiropractic, we use objective measures to look for a significant shift of the spine away from normal. When your head shifts forward, or your hips and low back shift out of alignment, the deviation in proper structure puts abnormal stress on the muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones, and most importantly, your nerves. This stress on your nervous system obstructs your body’s ability to move and function optimally.
The nervous system controls and coordinates every single function in your body. Think of your nerves as if they carried the signal coming from a satellite dish to the box by your television. If there is some sort of obstruction to that signal, image quality is disrupted. In a similar way, your brain sends electrical signals to every cell in your body and coordinates their function. When these signals are obstructed, the body’s ability to move, heal, and function is impaired.

What are Secondary Conditions?
When the spine shifts out of what is considered normal alignment, it can result in what we refer to as a secondary condition or symptom. They are referred to as a secondary condition because they are a result of an underlying primary condition. Some of the more common secondary conditions include:
- ADD/ADHD
- Arm Pain (Upper & Lower)
- Asymmetry (Ex: low Shoulder)
- Blood Pressure (High and Low)
- Bone Spurs
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- Cervical Myelopathy
- Degenerative Disc Disease
- Degenerative Joint Disease
- Digestive Conditions
- Disc Herniation/Pinched Nerves
- Dizziness
- Chronic Fatigue
- Fibromyalgia
- Tinnitis
- Migraine Headaches
- Muscle Spasm
- Low Back Pain
- Mid-Back Pain
- Muscular Imbalance
- Neck Pain
- Numbness/Tingling (Arms/Hands)
- Nerve Impingement Syndrome (Pinched Nerve)
- Posture-Related Issues (Including Poor Appearance)
- Shoulder Pain
- Spinal Canal Stenosis
- Strength-Related Issues (Decreased Grip Strength)
- Tendinitis
- Tennis Elbow
- Thoracic Outlet Syndrome
- TMJ

What Are My Treatment Options?
There are a variety of different options when it comes treating secondary conditions (symptoms). The first step for most folks is to take over-the-counter medications or prescription drugs. If that doesn’t work out, exercise and therapy programs are often utilized to work through soreness and pain. If none of those options work, more invasive procedures like surgery and steroid injections are used. All of these treatment methods have unique goals and are necessary given the correct circumstances.
Our job at Complete Chiropractic is to give you an understanding of what is causing your secondary conditions and provide you with the knowledge on how best to correct them. If your secondary conditions are caused by a Structural Shift of the spine, our goal is to provide you with a personalized care plan to get you feeling your best and most importantly, functioning at your highest potential.

What Can Complete Chiropractic Do For Me?
At Complete Chiropractic our focus is Structural Correction and the correction of Structural Shifts, which are typically the underlying cause of many secondary conditions.
After undergoing a thorough examination to determine the presence and severity of Structural Shifts, Dr. Arns will create a personalized plan of correction to improve overall spinal and structural health and help you move, heal, and function optimally.
How Do I Work With Complete Chiropractic?
Step 1: Schedule your complimentary consultation with Dr. Arns. A consultation is not a commitment to an examination or care, but rather a conversation to discuss any questions you have and to determine if the office fits your needs.
Step 2: Schedule an exam. If you decide that we are a good fit for you needs, you will be able to immediately schedule an exam, or schedule one at a later date that is convenient for you.
Step 3: Schedule a recommendation conference. After the exam is complete, we will schedule a conference on a subsequent visit to discuss your exam results and how we can help you.
Step 4: Begin your personalized Structural Correction plan! If you decide that you want to undergo care at Complete Chiropractic, you will receive your first structural adjustment following the conference.
