The fat everyone is told to avoid to save their heart.
To this day, many are given the outdated, medieval advice that saturated fat is surely going to cause heart disease.
Common sense, and a plethora of modern scientific evidence would refute that idea.
In a previous post, I showed the absolute importance of saturated fat in the body.
Our brains, our skin, and even our heart, NEED saturated fat for optimal function.
Humans have thrived off of saturated fats for their entire existence, and yet we are to believe it causes heart disease?
That just simply doesn’t pass my sniff test, folks.
And it doesn’t pass modern scientific analysis:

This systematic review of randomized controlled trials (the GOLD STANDARD of scientific evidence) concludes that “reducing saturated fats cannot be recommended at present to prevent cardiovascular diseases and mortality”.
So folks, please, enjoy adding some butter and red meat to your diet. Your body and taste buds will thank you.
